Great Reasons to Love the Lake of the Ozarks

Not only has Lake of the Ozarks become one of the most popular locations in the Mid-west for shopping, boating and golfing, but the lake has many other attractions that will awe, entertain, and downright make you dizzy!   There is plenty for nature lovers to do from exploring caves to hiking and biking the Ozark trails.  For history buffs, visit the Wilmore Lodge and Ha Ha Tonka State Park.  Many go-cart tracks and miniature golf courses are located right off Highway 54 in Osage Beach and Business 54 in Lake Ozark. The latest atractions the lake has to offer are geared towards the thrill seekers.  Downhill Ruckus sends 1-3 people bouncing and sliding down a hill inside of a human-sized ball with 5 gallons of water.  The Zip on the Strip is the lake's first and only zipline located on the historic Bagnell Dam Strip.  Stop by Captain Mike Fink's Marina across the street for $5.00 off coupons.

Casa De Loco
Casa De Loco, translated as "house of the crazy", has been nominated to the National Register of Historic Sites and has quite the unique story. Located west of Camdenton, the land was first developed in the late 1930's and went through several transformations, including The Mozark Health Care Facility, which was home to many elderly and mentally-ill patients.  Enjoy their private labeled wines, such as Schizo Bianco, Labottleme Zinfandel, and Straitjacket Syrah atop a bluff overlooking the Big Niangua River.
Seven Springs
This beautiful winery is located among the rolling foothills between Osage Beach and Camdenton.  Share a bottle of wine or sangria with dinner while enjoying the live entertainment or just stay for a glass and seasonal fruit and cheese board.  They also offer a shuttle from your lake location!

Osage Beach Premium Outlets
This outlet mall located in the heart of Osage Beach has over 100 name brand stores that offer deep discounts.  Bring the whole family - there is something for everyone including Bath & Body Works, Harry & David, The Gap, Banana Republic, Charlotte Russe, Coldwater Creek, The Children's Place, Bose, Le Gourmet Chef, Coach, Nike Factory Store, Skechers, Zales, and much more!

Victorian architecture and cobblestone sidewalks create a unique shopping experience at The Landing.  Find clothing, jewelry, artwork, and sweet treats or pick up the perfect gift for someone special.  Shop until your hearts content and then catch a show at The Main Street Music Hall, located right in the same parking lot!

Bagnell Dam Strip
1000 Bagnell Dam Blvd.

Lake Ozark, MO 65049

You will feel a bit of lake nostalgia on "The Strip" as it is know by many, while finding t-shirts, souvenirs, and crafts.  There are also many arcades and amusements, including 10 Cent Skee-Ball, to keep the young ones busy while you shop!  This historic area is just above the Bagnell Dam.
